This is Alan whose question was used in the podcast. While in my mind I knew the question I was really trying to ask, in writing it I was incredibly inarticulate. I am familiar with the 6 month progression of plans leading to an event and though the reminder of the logic and reasoning is always good, my question should have been more focused on what to do up to the start of Base leading into the Masters Nationals prep. Since there is so much time between when base should start and now, I was curious for the most effective approaches for the fall. I am really not coming off a season of work since I am dealing with a rotator cuff injury that has keep me off the road since mid June. Just looking for some fun/effective ideas/plans to approach the Fall pre-training period. I am limited to indoor riding for now as my shoulder cannot handle the bounce and bump of road riding.
