What Beer are you enjoying?

I have missed posting many of the beers I have had over the last several months….time to get back into it with my new favorite beer glass.

Tangled Roots just opened a new location near us…Honest Haze Hazy IPA. Not my favorite hazy. A bit too much mango flavor….but decent enough.

Pacifico, perfect oat soda for a hot day.

Gampar Pale Ale from Old Irving Brewery….crisp, slightly hoppy. Delicious.

Another Alesmith. It’s no 394 but gets the job done after a long day working and some hot & short interval work in the heat.

Belgian ale from Maplewood Brewing, which is close to where my daughters live downtown.

And of course my new favorite beer glass.

In such high rotation we need to start looking for wear on the glass!

Finally found Purple Monkey Dishwasher, and it’s pretty tasty. Can’t figure out how old the cans are, but it was good stuff.

Something that seems weird to me: the beer store had to actually order Voodoo Ranger IPA. It was almost literally everywhere for months, and POOF gone. The distributor had it in stock (apparently) too! Where was it going? That’s unfair! :person_shrugging: You can’t sell it if it’s not in a store where people are looking for it. One grocery, I bought a 12 every time I saw it. Sometimes 2, and it just disappeared there and everywhere else.

we need a pic, or like rides on Strava, you never had it!

Wow, tough crowd… (Should ‘bar time’ be a category on Strava? I spent an evening throwing axes and was surprised I worked up a good sweat doing it. :person_shrugging::thinking:)

And Evil Genius has ‘Stacy’s Mom’, ‘Adulting’, and ‘Work sucks, I know’. Creative names, maybe… (I saw a wine called ‘Adulting’, but didn’t recognize the source. Getting bad wine named ‘Adulting’ would seem to be too much like real adulting?)

:+1: :100: approved post!

Truman bowing

A repeat, in the ‘23 vintage. I love how some breweries are doing special releases like this. I found this at my local Costco and it’s been in my wine rack for another 6 months.

Figured I’d have it on Americas birthday

Happy Independence Day USA, from Idaho. Beer from Garden City, ID, San Diego, and this one from Seattle.

Bodhizafa IPA / Georgetown Brewing

:metal:

This is one of my favorite Pale Ales from my favorite brewery, Hop Butcher.

Alemerica Pale Ale, only available leading up to the 4th and then it is gone.

Also, never forget……:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Happy 4th to all….:sunglasses:

Pity that it’s not American owned anymore. And I’ve had the original Budweiser, and the original is so much better. :person_shrugging:

Foreign companies have swooped in and stolen plenty of American companies. :rage:

And the 120 is so… Wow… :face_with_spiral_eyes:  Both are amazing!

Oh, I used to have a source for their brews, but now that you mentioned them, I haven’t seen their stuff locally in quite a while. I always liked their edgy labels, and titles.

Literally used for ‘medicinal value’? Muscle relaxant? Good call… :+1:

Orange Creamsicle - M-43, Old Nation Brewing.

It’s kinda kitschy, but really does taste a lot like those orange pushup confections that the ringing bell used to announce. Like Pavlov’s dogs, we would react and dash to the nearest parent, begging money and then dash out to get as many as we could, and militantly defend them until ours were all gone. (That was before High Fructose Corn Syrup: AWESOME!)

Tasty, throwback. Consume cold though, or it just doesn’t feel nearly the same. (Although you aren’t likely to get brain freeze from one. (sorry))
