What Beer are you enjoying?

A pint or four of JHB :beers:

Hair of the dog

I’m a big fan of Athletic, for my money nothing hits the spot after a run in the heat quite like a cold can of Athletic Lite, so good. I actually just got a membership just so I could order a few cases of their lemon radler. I love it.

After visiting Germany last year I started to play around with non-Alcoholic radlers during the week (I force no drinking during the week and at least one weekend without alcohol a month). What I’ve actually started to really like is their Hazy IPA with about 4 ounces of lemonade - so refreshing.

Had Surly Lemonade, and they missed the lemonade taste a bit, or I had higher expectations. shrug I could try adding some ‘lemonade’, but I was looking for some last week, and I’m sorry but something with 3% to 5% real juice is NOT lemonade!! MY GAWD WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO PEOPLE!! Where is the ‘real’ lemonade? People talk about ‘overly processed food’, so does something called ‘juice’ that has 0% fruit juices also qualify as ‘overly processed’, or is it just garbage?

Yep, the team decided to go to The Bicycle Thief restaurant. This is our actual text string heading to dinner.

Carb loading for tomorrow’s Peloton ride!

Sa Colabra this morning. I may have had (several) San Miguel’s before deciding to take this photo

Nice light beer. Very smooth.

Unfortunately i don’t have the correct glass which i saw this afternoon. The details are so good that they even have cobbles designed in the bottom of the glass.

Weihenstephan Dark Wheat Beer. Brewed in Freising by the oldest still active Brewery in the World (since 1040) . Plus our city Freising (Bavaria - near Munich) is celebrating 1300 years of being a city this year.

They have amazing beers and setting. The brewery is in an amazing place.

yep, just around the corner

It’s supposed to be World Beer Day today. Cheers! :person_shrugging:

No pics, but got off the wagon during a boys trip/cycling weekend in L.A. Enjoyed a Saison DuPont, Chimay Triple, and nice Delirium Tremens.

Finished riding LEJOG 1400K as an Audax event a couple of days ago (~4.5 days to do the whole thing). After finishing a 180 mile final day, I rode an extra 17 miles back to the Scottish town of Wick. No food shops were open, but I was in the mood for a liquid meal anyway. The bar below my room was serving Tennent’s. Never had one before, but it went down smooth. The second, third, and fourth were even better. Went straight to bed after that and slept very well.

I’m in the US and my Alma Mater is the university of Tennessee. My wife and I still live in Knoxville and have been college football season ticket holders since 2007.

I say that to say our logo is a big orange T. When I was in GB several years ago, one of those glasses may have found its way into my wife’s purse and made its way back across the ocean with us.

Lol, How they thought their 80s beer can ladies (Tennent’s Girl, Lager Lovelies) marketing wasn’t sexist at all is unbelievable, how times have changed :joy:

After 79 relatively hot hilly miles a pint of Poretti came just in time and made the 5 miles home pleasurable

New Belgium Atomic Pumpkin!! I wait for this to come out instead of Starbucks’ PSL.

BTW: Anyone remember ‘Ed’s Cave Creek Chili Beer’? THAT was some serious tasty liquid fire! I tried it warm once, and YOW!!! But chilled, it was a perfect balance between third degree burns and a warm feeling flowing through the charred tissues in the throat! :flushed:
