I am in week 4 of sweet spot base low volume 1. I am also following a strength training program focused on improving strength and mobility on the mountain bike. This week for the strength training program is an active recovery week, half sets, 50% rides, etc. An active recover week is scheduled every 4 weeks in the strength program vs 6 in trainer road. My question is should I push through week 4 on trainerroad or should I also back off and sprinkle in some easy rides this week and pick back up next week?
