What Beer are you enjoying?

A repeat, in the ‘23 vintage. I love how some breweries are doing special releases like this. I found this at my local Costco and it’s been in my wine rack for another 6 months.

This is one of my favorite Pale Ales from my favorite brewery, Hop Butcher.

Alemerica Pale Ale, only available leading up to the 4th and then it is gone.

Also, never forget……:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Happy 4th to all….:sunglasses:

Pity that it’s not American owned anymore. And I’ve had the original Budweiser, and the original is so much better. :person_shrugging:

Foreign companies have swooped in and stolen plenty of American companies. :rage:

And the 120 is so… Wow… :face_with_spiral_eyes:  Both are amazing!

I don’t do the 120 often but I used to keep some 90s around as reward beers. Finished a work project or after a race that kind of thing.

Just got home and saw some flying dog ( local ish but taproom is closed) snake dog so will be enjoying that with dinner. ( Brussels sprouts Cesar salad and some sour dough I made)

Oh, I used to have a source for their brews, but now that you mentioned them, I haven’t seen their stuff locally in quite a while. I always liked their edgy labels, and titles.

Stopped at a brewery on the way to urgent care Saturday after her crash, her idea not mine.

Magnolia I think it was called, Brown ale. Good but rushed and shared most of it.

First beer was Pine Grove, west Coast IPA, and well tasted like most of them. Still good nothing special.

Literally used for ‘medicinal value’? Muscle relaxant? Good call… :+1:

Orange Creamsicle - M-43, Old Nation Brewing.

It’s kinda kitschy, but really does taste a lot like those orange pushup confections that the ringing bell used to announce. Like Pavlov’s dogs, we would react and dash to the nearest parent, begging money and then dash out to get as many as we could, and militantly defend them until ours were all gone. (That was before High Fructose Corn Syrup: AWESOME!)

Tasty, throwback. Consume cold though, or it just doesn’t feel nearly the same. (Although you aren’t likely to get brain freeze from one. (sorry))

I’m a big fan of Athletic, for my money nothing hits the spot after a run in the heat quite like a cold can of Athletic Lite, so good. I actually just got a membership just so I could order a few cases of their lemon radler. I love it.

After visiting Germany last year I started to play around with non-Alcoholic radlers during the week (I force no drinking during the week and at least one weekend without alcohol a month). What I’ve actually started to really like is their Hazy IPA with about 4 ounces of lemonade - so refreshing.

GF and the tot were out of town for a few days and the weather was finally decent enough to be outside so we hit a local brewery this evening after they got home. I’ve been after a bike ride but she hadn’t made it to yet.

Brewtus imperial stout… this was amazing

Riot Rye Pale Ale… good but not as good as the stout

She tried the 2 lagers and the tot had a cider if you just ground up the apples, put them in a pouch and didn’t ferment them, aka applesauce.

Had Surly Lemonade, and they missed the lemonade taste a bit, or I had higher expectations. shrug I could try adding some ‘lemonade’, but I was looking for some last week, and I’m sorry but something with 3% to 5% real juice is NOT lemonade!! MY GAWD WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO PEOPLE!! Where is the ‘real’ lemonade? People talk about ‘overly processed food’, so does something called ‘juice’ that has 0% fruit juices also qualify as ‘overly processed’, or is it just garbage?

Bulwark Cider
The Bicycle Thief, Nova Scotia, Canada

Yep, the team decided to go to The Bicycle Thief restaurant. This is our actual text string heading to dinner.
