Thought I’d better take a photo before it all went
7k IPA from Santa Fe Brewing Co. Thought I would add a pic of my under-utilized power rack in the background. I got in 2 sessions this week though.
I am lucky enough to be a shareholder in East London Brewing. So am of course biased. The Cowcatcher is one of my favourites
I have a new favorite pro cyclist…
Get that cider out of the beer thread!!! Kidding, my wife won’t drink beer but we have several cideries fairly close by and those things go down so easy - I like a solid buzz as much as the next guy, but there are 9-10% ciders that go down way way to easy for those of us that are not the best with self control (looks in mirror).
I love pineapple, and I love pale ales and IPA’s, but for whatever reason I’ve not had a pineapple pale ale/IPA I’ve actually cared for
Yeah, the Pineapple Guppy was OK, but not great. Like you, haven’t really found the combo to work well, despite loving both individually.
The Topa Topa Spectro hazy I posted above had nice pineapple notes.
I like Speedway Stout the most. Last night, my friend and I were in a club, enjoying this beer and our recently purchased Bad Bunny shirts. It was a pleasant evening. We have a great time.
Speedway Stout FTW! The Vietnamese Coffee variant is easily one of my Top 5 beers of all time.
North Coast Brewing’s Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale
Fall River’s Numb and Numb Juice
Paired with beet salad and watermelon radishes
Been laying off the beer lately as I’ve been focused on improving my power:weight but today being #nationalbeerday I made an exception and this Sea to Slope by Pure Project is a 10/10!
Another great beer from Hop Butcher here in Chicago….a classic IPA. Hoppy with a nice bitter finish. And a great Chicago name…
