I had a PBR Hard Coffee last night, Don’t recommend.

The once great Canadian brewery is finally making a worthy product again…

It has tart cherry, so I assume it is TrainerRoad approved?

Indeed! Last time I was in SD we found a great cuban restaurant and they Modern Times on tap! This past weekend I had Latitude 33 Blood Orange IPA, a little brewery in SD North County.

For anyone in the UK and anywhere else (if you can get it) are these 3

450x450

Small Beer IPA - 2.5% ABV - Super crisp beer that’s super tasty and light.

BloodyEll18

Beaver Town Bloody Ell’ - 5.5% ABV - Blood Orange IPA that’s delicious.

wild-beer-co-pogo-1581690442Pogo

Wildbeer POGO - 4.1% ABV - Fruit IPA that’s great in the sun.

If you haven’t visited a Modern Times brewery, you’re missing out - they’re the epitome of an awesome, funky, local craft beer joint. They also support the local cycling scene and just run an all-around cool business. The Blood Orange IPA put Latitude 33 on the map and they’ve been hitting home run after home run since. The Stone Peak Conditions IIPA that I posted just dethroned Latitude 33 Mangoveza as my current favorite IPA and they have an ~8% ale called Honey Hips that’s also quite good.

Stone Peak Conditions IPA will be my next purchase! Hoping to get back down to San Diego soon, after we can travel again, and will be sure to make a visit to Modern Times brewery.

I’m assuming you’re in Chicago too…

Incant believe how much places are charging for 3 Floyds now. Seems like yesterday Alpha King was $5.99 a six pack.

Christ I’m starting to sound old way too often…

Yeah, up in the northern ‘burbs. Been drinking a lot from Pipeworks, Maplewood and Tighthead breweries lately.

Maplewood Charlatan and Tighthead Chilly Water are two of my favorites.

I am a sucker for potent Belgian beers. And no, I didn’t drink these in one go.
