Pre workout Carb source quality

I’m bad at remembering all the facts around nutrition. I make most my food and would say I eat healthy.

Silly question but help would be great.
Is there a difference between kodiak pancake mix and other brands? I’ve been eating the kodiak mix for a while and like it but am I just spending more money for no real reason.

Would eating a bagel sans cream cheese and adding fruit be a decent quick option?
I usually eat 3 hours before my workouts. This isn’t just Saturday morning breakfast and no riding.


Kodiak has more protein which isnt necessarily a bad thing.
