Anyone tried adding short VO2max workouts into the SSB LV1 plan?

I often hear about the benefits of doing low volume plans and adding TSS with aerobic rides. I’m doing this now, but some weekends I don’t have time for a long ride but could squeeze in a 30 or 45 minute session from the Time Crunched plans. Sometimes I’d just rather do a short intense workout than a long steady one.

I’m thinking I’ll give this a try but wondered if anyone on here had experience of doing the same and if so how did it go?
