It’s actually closer to 19% on average, unless they’ve pulled it back a bit. I’ve got some from 2016 aging in the basement right now. Yeah, it’s an IPA, but at that high an ABV%, when it’s fresh, it’s just damn hot.

Limited release IIIPA from Modus Operandi in Australia, very smooth!

Local Pizza/Pinthouse in Austin had some great bottled selections last night - Friek (Raspberry & Cherry Sour Ale) and and Lugene (Chocolate Milk Stout) from Odell. It made my night!

Local stuff. Goes great with the end of a long day skiing.

Found a small bar selling craft beers near Hoi An, Vietnam - this little beauty is from Saigon:

I love Nanny State by Brewdog. It’s 0.5% (I.e. alcohol free) but tastes like a genuinely decent IPA with none of the weird fishy taste you get with most low alcohol beers. Only something like 20 calories and no sugar per bottle too. Well worth a try!

Lovely lager, not best training but so tasty.

Last night at dinner - Fairway to Heaven by Tap It Brewing, and a Saison from another local Central Coast Brewery. The Saison was excellent
