Is this a trick question?

I’m enjoying all of them :beers:

We need a wine thread, beer is for the uncultured lol :face_with_monocle:

Glad you like it! I just got back from picking up a selection from Une Annee. They just moved over to gross point road, kinda behind the target on Touhy/Caldwell. Will report back soon. They have food now, and it’s not far off the north branch trail. Can wait till the world opens up again…

This is my go-to list for the Lower Mainland - I don’t live there but have been to ~5 of the top ten and a handful of others and it seems to be a solid ranking.

A stop at Strange fellows after a north shore ride with food from Taco Fino is a perfect day.

Am I correct in recalling that you are Canadian? If so, what city are you in? I may have some recommendations.

Been working on the backyard for 10 hours and I gotta say the Mangoveza went yard and hit it out of the park :baseball:

This “Temptress - French Quarter” from Lakewood brewing is a dessert in a glass, probably 500 calories, but worth every mile you have to do to work it back off.

I mean just look at that head…

This “Cherry Pie” from The Bruery was a little too sweet for my tastes but man it hit hard, like 10.2% ABV,

I’m a fan of pretty much everything by Left Hand brewing.

Good old fashioned “Hard Wired Nitro” last friday, I’m sure we all know about this right?

I kinda hate to see the “winter beer” time come to an end, but I like a good Amber this time of year, and being an Austinite, "Austin Amber is kinda my go to.

A well poured head is one of the best food groups.

33 Acres of Darkness

Style: Schwarzbier
Colour: Black
Alcohol: 5.0% by volume
Aroma: Roasted malt, caramelized sugars
Flavour: Slight coffee, dark chocolate, clean and crisp finish.

It’s my first Schwarzbier (sorry, no IPA allowed in my beer cave!). The style is nicknamed ‘the stout of lagers’. And only 330ml – the perfect amount of carbs!

I’m gutted that they don’t have the big man himself on the can anymore.

1.5hr recovery week spin in the morning. 90’s hip hop is looking like the theme. Pretty sure I’ve watched the entire Netflix library already.

Left hand Sawtooth Ale is a wonderful beer…one of my all-time favorites. A style that has sadden,y grown out of favor lately with IPA’s being all the rage, but anytime I see Sawtooth, I grab one.

There was just an article in Austin Monthly about beer drinkers and brewers pushing for a return to some of the better traditional styles, as IPAs have gone off the deep end, with tangerine (Which I like), hazys (Which I also like), doubles (which I KINDA like). I agree with a lot of what they say, though I’m not the biggest fan of Pilsners and such, they have their place, especially as were rolling into summer. I don’t want to see creative IPAs disappear, I really like the current Hazy trend, but I LOVE a good Amber, or Scotch ale.

Never had I felt like such a Boomer as I groused to myself: Where was the porter? Or a simple English stout that didn’t taste like wood chips and ethanol?

This. If porter/stout is a Boomer, then IPA is a watery Millennial.

The history of why American beer is non-dark (to put it politely) is an interesting one, fortunately one in which I do not imbibe.
