Rookie question on recovery time

When do you start counting the recovery time from?

for example i’m taking two days off from training, do I then start counting the time from when the workout ended?

So if you workout Monday at noon and take two days off you are asking if your next work is 48 hours later (Wednesday at noon) or Thursday?

I look at two days off as two days off, so in my opinion it’s Thursday.

I generally take two days off a week but they aren’t back to back.

I guess it depends on why you are taking two days off. If it’s to see if some pain gets better I’d certainly go for the longer option.


Yeah right okay. Wednesday noon is how I would calculated two days from.

Was getting inpatient with myself and was trying to calculate two days of rest back2back like.
