After looking around a fair bit to see if there was any info on this I turn to the power of the community.
I’m wondering what’s the best way to construct a year-long or ‘pased’ training plan to combine both road racing plus triathlon.
I’m mainly a cyclist but since this year (with no luck due to cancellations) I’ve been very interested in also adding mid to long-distance triathlons after June / July when my season is over.
I usually focus on one-day cycling races in Europe (e.g. Liege, Strade, Dolomites) in the first half of the year and wanted to do 2 to 3 mid and full Ironman races from Jul-August onwards.
Could anyone comment on your experiences and how could I approach the training?
