Sorry to hear about @chad injuring his ankle. Hopefully his MRI shows minimal issues.
I broke my own ankle 2 months ago, thankfully no surgery needed. My doctor didn’t let me get back to any cycling until this week, but made me promise to keep it to minimal force on a trainer. So at this point I’ve only done three 45-50 min workouts at Z1. In about 2 weeks I should be able to go a bit harder.
How should I go about my return to proper training. What is @chad thinking of doing once he can get back?
I’m a 43 year old male with 27 years of MTB under the belt.
