Relentless - Alistair Brownlee, double Olympic gold

So many nuggets across many different sports but very much a good read for those interested in how those who succeed go about it.

I have the hardback but it’s only £2.99 on kindle…

I will get this added sometime this week.

Damascus Station. by David McCloskey. It’s a cracking good read. And i never usually read fiction.

People can sure list whatever they want in this topic, but I will keep to just doing training, racing and related topics for the ones I link in the OP.

Need some suggestions on two good allround books for:

  • Nutrition pre wo during and after that talks about the needs in different scenarios. Short workouts, long but low intensity and medium to long intensity wo and race events.
  • For begginers in running that want to orevent injuries. Pacing, volume, workouts to improve joints, etc.

A fun read (audio book was great too):

And a few enjoyable reads on bike touring (my reason for using trainerroad):

This is an incredible story, well told. The Russian Affair: The True Story of the Couple who Uncovered the Greatest Sporting Scandal)

This one is really resonating for me. I have had middling luck with follow through on races and some of the things discussed in “Do Hard Things” are helping me work out reframing the inner dialog that’s not as committed to finishing as I should be.
