Plan builder, masters, changing hours

I have just finished my training plan and now setting up my plan for next year. I just race local cx but still want to do my best. Last year I picked 4hrs a week for a master plan for 2026 I want to up that to ten hours but plan builder keeps defaulting to four hours; how do I change this?

Thanks in advance.

Midway through Plan Builder, you will be asked to select your Training Approach, on a 5-point scale of Conservative to Aggressive.

On my Plan Builder, it defaults to Balanced and also gives me 4hrs/week. So I assume you’d need to select Aggressive to get more volume.

Welcome to the forum @ericweaver2010!

You can customize your plan to your liking in the schedule step of Plan Builder.

To change the number of workouts you have each week and how many are hard, simply click on “Settings,” as shown below.

Once you have that set up how you’d like, you can then change the max duration caps for each day of the week.

We will, of course, make volume/plan recommendations that we suggest you follow which are based on your abilities and recent training history, but ultimately, your plan is in your hands and you can build things however you’d like.

You can also follow the plan that we recommend and use the “Check Volume” feature as you progress to see when we’d suggest safe, sustainable volume increases along the way.

Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions about any of this. :slightly_smiling_face:
