Plan Builder 2024 vs 2025

I’m returning for another winter on TR. The ai generated plan builder seems significantly different than last year.

I chose a 6 month general fitness plan for the road. However, my total hours scheduled per week or significantly less than last year. Last year I was mid-volume and getting 6-630 hours per week. This year im also mid-volume but only getting 430-5 hours. It’s mainly missing 2 hour endurance rides.

Should I choose something other than general fitness to get back to 6 hours?

You’re right, a lot has changed since you left!

You can now set the maximum number of hours you’d like to train on each day of the week individually, and we’ll prescribe workouts of that duration as soon as your Progression Levels allow.

The latter half of this Help Center article describes how this works, but if you simply go back into the scheduling part of your plan, you can make those changes whenever you’d like, as shown below.

First, log in on the web and click on the name of your training plan on the top left of your screen :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Then click “Edit Plan” and make the adjustments you’d like

Keep in mind that we’re always going to make volume recommendations that we suggest you follow, but of course, your plan is in your own hands. :raising_hands:
