Time Off is treated similarly regardless of the category type. However, as I mentioned, when it comes to injury, it’s better to get the OK from the doctor prior to returning to training. Everyone heals differently and at varying rates, so this is something that the athlete must also gauge by feel, as they are the only ones who know how their body is feeling. As @OreoCookie mentioned this as well, even if you were working with a human coach, the athlete would have to assess this. Unfortunately there is no mind reading here
