Delete workout from calendar if another one planned?

Apologies if I’m clogging the forum with this thread - if similar was on before. I am planning to change the planned workout to different - to match my longer outside ride over the weekend. Is it better to keep the original workut in the calendar and simply allow it to be marked as “skipped”? Or delete, replace with the longer endurance workout?

I’m looking to change my workout today but will be manually adding from the workout menu instead of using “alternates”. Do I keep or delete the old workout ?

Delete the old one.
