But telling people I do triathlon/I ride bikes/I run Jar.
The bike jar is not to be confused with the:
- Crossfit jar
- Vegan jar or
- I don’t own a TV jar (which these days is probably not as obnoxious as it used to be).

I’ve gotten better at interpreting ‘the look’. It’s when they are feeling cornered and wish they had never asked, and are looking for someone to recognize their agony and come and rescue them. I’ve found you have to forgive people that just walk away. Not that it happens all that much in reality…
