Well I for one want to thank you so much. I loved Calvin and Hobbs as a Kid. I had a special aunt that bought me all the books. At 52 this kind of brought me to tears in a good way!!!

Team kit - sure, whatever you want to do. If you’re going to choose to wear certain logos be aware that you may supporting of a despot governments, environment destroyers, racists or transphobes.
Championships jerseys - No. You want to wear them, go win them. These are part of the prize of winning the elite race at the elite level. One person for each discipline should be wearing them, this should be respected. It’s akin to wearing a replica gold medal to a park run or a fake NFL championship ring.
