Any metal heads here? 🤘 🤘 🤘 🤘 🤘 🤘

The new Converge with Chelsea Wolfe is fantastic. I’ve really enjoyed the evolution of that band

lol you were too fast. but its a collab between howard jones and jared dines.
at 50 y old he’s still got on of the (if not the) best voice in metal!

Just found this thread and so glad I have! Some great song choices here :metal:t2:

My current big hitter is Out For Blood by Code Orange.

My default is Deutschland by Rammstein. There is no better workout song.

Iron Lung might be a bit over the top for Tempo workouts…just sayin’.

Hijacking this thread slightly to see if anyone knows of any metal-ish cycling gear? e.g. jerseys with skulls, pentograms, etc?

Sabaton …Thundergods, into the Fire. The Beast

Theres a clear gap in the market for this stuff

Tho I’m still pining for a cycling kit manufacturer that is a co-op or employee owned like many bike shops in the UK.

Within Temptation. Especially their album from the 2018 year is great. One of the best, as for me.
As an example.

Some of my favorites for TR workouts:

Arch Enemy
Slayer
At The Gates
Behemoth
Belphegor
Cradle of Filth
Bolt Thrower
Bloodbath
Dimmu Borgir
Amon Amarth

Ministry: Just One Fix.

That counts right?

I first read your post as “some of my favorite TR workouts” - some of these would be epic workouts, with names like Slayer, Bolt Thrower, Behemoth! :joy:

Good timing. I just came here to recommend the new album by Fit For An Autopsy. The track Far From Heaven is great for those heavy pushes.

The band and song name would both make great workout names!

Soulfly among others is on my list.

I’ve been on a Daughters kick recently. The earlier albums pair up great with sprints or VO2 max, the later albums with everything else.

I ain’t much of a metal head, so I mostly stick to the few I’ve attached to… Converge (easily my favorite metal band), Children of Bodom, occasionally Lamb of God (love their first album), and Poppy’s “I disagree”.

Edit: Propogandhi, too, since they kinda turned metal.
