I completed a 2 hour endurance workout yesterday.
At the moment I am at week 16 of my mid volume plan (build phase).
I noticed that in the upcoming 3 weeks, see attached image, I will be doing 11 more endurance workouts and only 2 harder workouts.
I know, and find it logical, that sometimes the plan adds 1 week of endurance to recover from all the work. But 11 endurance workouts in 3 weeks feels a bit like overkill. What is your opinion on this?
It looks like your recovery week schedule has become slightly off. This is likely due to the changes we made to our plans, which switched the work to recovery schedule to 3:1.
Sometimes, depending on the plan the athlete was on and how long it was, things would be off by a week or two, but we can easily fix this for you.
