Yellow day spam

I have now received three emails warning me that 3/20 is a yellow day.

Email #1 came in at 4:32pm PST on 3/19, after the completion of Garrowby. It warned that "Tomorrow is an endurance or rest day (Thursday, March 20, 2025).

Email #2 came in at 12:03am PST on 3/20, warning me that “Today is an endurance or rest day (Thursday, March 20, 2025).”

Email #3 came in at 8:37pm PST on 3/20, warning me that “Tomorrow is an endurance or rest day (Thursday, March 20, 2025).”

I don’t think these emails are particularly useful. There are already color-coded days on the calendar and in-app prompts prior to starting a workout on a rest day.

The real problem lies in that final email which claimed that today is tomorrow. IMO it was clearly a bug to send it and shows this feature was rushed out. If you don’t pay attention it just reads like I should take 3/21 off when it was really just repeating the fact that 3/20 was a rest/endurance day.

I have turned off the Y/R light emails for now.

Perhaps it’s testing you to see if you are paying attention.

How did you turn off the emails?

I think the point is that 3 emails per yellow day is… extreme. He already said he turned them off.

I experienced the same thing with multiple emails and also turned them off. Pretty sure one email would be suffient for those who want them.

Mine also says red day sometimes when it’s yellow in the app.

Maybe needs a little TLC from the dev team…

Hey guys!!!

Long story short this was an issue with a time zone mixup when checking whether an email had already been sent.

This has now been fixed :folded_hands:
