Hi,
I received one or two emails for training updates in previous weeks, but I no longer receive them even though there were adaptations or RLGLs in my calendar. Yet I ticked all the boxes…
Someone else ?
Thanks.
Bruno
No problems here. Just received one yesterday. Have you checked your spam folder?
Yes, nothing in my spam folder…
Hey! Hmmm, that’s strange.
Let’s try the following steps to see if we can get this sorted:
- Try a Hard Refresh - We can do this by going to your Email preferences on the website, and pressing:
- Ctrl F5 (for Windows and Linux)
- Command ⌘ + Shift + R (for Mac)
Then go ahead and de-select and re-select the options to enable email notifications.
- Let’s have you try clearing your browser cache - The browser cache contains files that TrainerRoad’s website uses to function. In a few rare cases, we’ve found that these files can get corrupted. Let’s try clearing them, to see if we get better results for you.
Once you have cleared your browser cache, go ahead and de-select and re-select the options to enable email notifications.
For Google Chrome:
-
Select the three dot menu in the top-right > “Settings” > “Advanced” > “Clear browsing data…“.
-
Select the period of time you wish to delete cached information using the “Clear the following items from” drop down menu. From there, you can choose “Cached images and files“.
-
Select the “Clear browsing data” button, and Chrome will clear your cache.
For Safari:
-
Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
-
Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
-
Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.
For Firefox:
-
Click the three bar menu button and select Options.
-
Select the Privacy & Security panel.
-
In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data….
-
Remove the check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data
-
With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button.
For Microsoft Edge:
-
Click on the. menu button situated in the upper right corner.
-
Click on Settings.
-
Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.
-
Check the boxes next to Cached data and files.
-
Click on Clear.
Let me know if you start recieving emails again after trying these steps!
Similar here.
Last week I was triggering yellow alerts for the first 4 days of the week due to very intense sessions, but no email notification came in.
Then last evening another yellow alert was caused by hard session and then after midnight expected email was received.
In Email preferences i have all options ticked, but inconsistent email behavior is still being experienced.
I will follow advice from @SarahLaverty to see if this helps.
Thanks. Fix applied, wait and see…
Thanks for letting us know guys. Upon looking into this further, it looks like there may have been an issue that was affecting emails associated with adaptations related to Fatigue Detection last week. That specififc issue should have been fixed last week though, which may explain the inconsistency.
Has this been an issue since Thursday of last week?
I have a yellow day for today, and I had no email.
And certainly adaptations last week.
I’m with TR since 2 months and I feel like this has always been the case. I’ve raised similar question already like 2-3 weeks back under another thread, but no reply was received from anyone since.
Thanks
This morning (march 8) I did a 2h workout and as soon as I finished it I received an email saying:
Today is an endurance or rest day (Sunday, March 9, 2025).
Shouldn’t this be sent later in the day and start with “Tomorrow…”?
Thanks for following up, guys. Sorry that you’re still running into the same problem. I’m going to pass this along to the team so that they can look into it.
Hmm how strange. Have you tried the steps I suggested above?
Hi, I did after receiving that first email. I then received a second email on the 9th at 00:01 with the correct message. Let’s see how it behaves from now on.
Got it! Let us know how you get on . If the beahviour persists, I’ll pass it along to the team to look into.
hi @SarahLaverty I haven’t done anything different and today was the first time I ever received an email for a Yellow Day. It was sent at 12:00 AM PDT.
I thought this was a brand new feature!
Oh wonderful! Thanks for letting me know
