Seems like this has become a reoccurring issue. Is this a Zwift issue or a TR one? The workout shows a Z in the TR app, but nowhere to be seen in Zwift. Tough to stick to a plan this way…
Had this happen Saturday and I just backed out of Zwift and restarted and it was there
You are looking in Workouts->Custom->TrainerRoad as well ?
I’ve tried that on multiple occasions. Has never worked for me.
Not there either. Plus, that’s never where I’ve accessed workouts before.
It used to happen to me all the time, I’d always have to disconnect and reconnect Zwift and TR to get them to show up.
Hey all. We did have an issue pop up with syncing workouts to Zwift on Saturday which is likely what @Elgro mentions above. This issue was resolved pretty swiftly and should not be affecting any athletes now.
@EnduroDog, from our end everything looks good with your next scheduled workout—it has been pushed successfully to Zwift and we can see the scheduled workout returned from their server as expected. There may be a syncing issue occurring for you on the Zwift side, out of our control. If things don’t resolve let me know and I’ll reach out to our colleagues over at Zwift.
As I posted my workouts hadn’t loaded on Zwift the past three workouts it literally popped up on my iPad. Quickest response ever !!!
Having this issue today. Struggled for over 30 minutes, finally gave up and did a free ride. I restarted both apps, disconnected and reconnected TR to Zwift, nothing worked. Trying again now and I still don’t see tomorrow’s workout. Looks OK from the TR app, but not in Zwift. Worked yesterday but not today!? I did just update to latest Zwift 1.92.0 on iOS, maybe that’s the problem?
Seems the same here… did a Zwift workout in the end.
UPDATE: Seems to be an iOS specific issue from my perspective. I started Zwift on the mac, and the workout was there. Went back to the iPad, thinking something may have refreshed - still no TR workout there.
We’re looking into this now. Could you check which version of Zwift you’re running?
Is it 1.92?
Let me know when you can!
Oh, and welcome to the forum, by the way!
Yes I’m on 1.92.0 in iOS. I don’t need today’s workout, just did it outside. Thanks!
Thanks @eddiegrinwald - also on latest (1.92). Worked perfectly yesterday on the previous version. Only funny was I canned the TR workout for unrelated reasons.
This morning, update rolled out and I tried several things, but to no avail. Performed Zwift w/o, which synced back to TR, so the sync between Zwift and TR is still operational. And then also afterwards saw (as mentioned) that the workout is actually loaded when I open Zwift from my Mac. But remained unavailable on the iPad even after seeing this on the Mac.
Will see what happens tomorrow and report back.
Same for me, my Zwift activity uploaded to TR so connection isn’t broken.
Hi,
Is there any issue with loading workouts into Zwift on Apple devices? I’ve updated Zwift to the latest version today and don’t see the workouts. It was working flawlessly for the last couple of weeks until today. The TrainerRoad folder also disappeared in the Custom folder.
I tried in on Ipad and ATV. Interestingly, when I launch Zwift on Windows PC it works fine.
You’re not alone. It’s the same for me. Hopefully it’s fixed quickly.
I’ve noticed this today on Zwift 1.92. No issues yesterday on 1.91.
I tried a few things to make it work. Eventually disconnecting Zwift sync and then reconnecting, and then deleting any pre-synced Zwift workout’s - the one with the Z icon, and then re-adding them worked.
The newly added TR workout synced with the Z icon on the TR web calendar and then showed up on the for you Zwift row.
Synced once the workout was done.
Looks like 1.92 has broken the TR - Zwift connection.
We’re still looking at what’s causing the issue, but it looks like it may be something with the latest Zwift update.
We did find a potential workaround in the meantime:
Just dragging the TR workout to a different day should cause the TrainerRoad folder to show up in the Zwift Custom workouts section. However, if we then restart the Zwift app, the TR workout disappears. (once again, this is all iOS, desktop continues to behave as normal).
We’ve confirmed that there is a known issue with Zwift version 1.92 that causes TrainerRoad workouts to not sync correctly on iOS and Apple TV. Zwift is aware of the issue and is working on it.
We don’t have a timeline for the fix just yet, but we’re in contact with Zwift’s engineering team and we’ll share any updates as we get them.
Temporary workaround:
As Caro mentioned above, there’s a temporary workaround you can try in the meantime.
- Open the TrainerRoad app and drag your workout to a different day on your calendar, then drag it back to today.
- This can trigger Zwift to recognize and load the workout again.
- You may need to repeat this process multiple times. If the app is restarted, the workout may disappear again.
