Zwift & Trainer road integration issue

Hello there, nearly each week I have to go to the TR “connections” page and remove the zwift connection and re-add it, as it didnt push any workouts into Zwift (even though the icon appears on the TR calendar with the Zwift Z in the top corner of that workout). Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Have not had this issue ever. My TR workout is always in Zwift, and always shows in the ‘For You’ carousel.

Is it possible you just don’t have a workout scheduled for the day your checking in Zwift?

Interesting, I do have a workout scheduled, but also it typically when working properly will show you the workout thats coming up the next day as well… in the “for you” area I would get nothing, and if I dive into the workouts section I cannot locate it there either. Once I disconnect zwift on the TR website, and reenable, and then restart zwift it loads everything up and the workouts show in the “for you” area as well as in the workout section.

Happened again last night - I am wondering if its an issue that I usually run Zwift on an iPad, but I am also logged into zwift on my phone to check upgrade status or set a bike up ahead of time in the garage for an event (even though i kill the app on the phone when i am done using it) and thats causing some issue with the integration?

Hey @Mwil, welcome to the forum!

I’m seeing that today’s and tomorrow’s workouts (Volunteer -1 & Tray Mountain -2) have synced to Zwift. Are those not populating in the Zwift app?

We only push workouts to Zwift two days ahead of time, so you won’t see Saturday’s workout populate in Zwift until tommorrow.

Being logged in to Zwift on two different devices is definitely a recipe for trouble. You say you are ‘killing’ the app, but are you sure? If you’re just putting it in the background then you’re technically still logged in. You should be purposefully exiting Zwift after each use on a tablet or phone, and then force-quitting the app, also. And definitely don’t log in on a second device while actively using the first one.

Yeah, I do quit / kill the app and not just toss it into the background on the phone, and never sign in on my phone while I’m actively logged in on my iPad. I also kill the app on my iPad each time I am done riding in Zwift. I will check the iPad when I get home to see if its pulling in the TR workouts, and then I will not sign in on my phone at all for a few days and see if the integration continues working on the iPad.

@Mwil, it might be worth doing one more dis/reconnect from TR to Zwift.

But this time, try logging out both TR and Zwift on all devices, both on the app and on the web, clearing your cookies/cache, and then logging back into both TR and Zwift before reconnecting the two.

I’ve seen issues with wires getting crossed if there is other login information stored somewhere on your device when syncing two platforms…

Had to reconnect the integration again last night before riding as when I launched Zwift on the iPad it didnt pull in the TR workouts. I’ll try nuking all the logins and caches.

Ok, so I hadnt signed in to Zwift on any other devices except the iPad, and when I did this, the workouts were present in Zwift on my iPad that i typically do my workouts with. Going to test “signing in” on my phone and see if that breaks the iPad’s connection again.
