Who's training on Christmas day then?

:joy: :joy:

Counter point: it’s a hell of a lot easier to squeeze in than a 20-minute FTP test…

Mount Field 1 hour workout for me me early on Christmas day before the family are out of bed. I was down for a 2 hour workout but there won’t be time. Pity I have to do it then as Santa is bringing me a Wahoo Headwind. I’ll have to wait until Boxing day to try it out.

I’ll sneak in my Time Crunched workout on Christmas Day. New Year’s day is a ramp test which will be WAY harder to accomplish!

Nope. Proper feet up, mouth open, in it goes, type of day for me.

If the weather is ok I will do an outside ride, if not Kaiser is on the TR plan, VO2 Max in Christmas Day…is a bit brutal !

Christmas day counts for 2 stamps for the Rapha Festive 500 SF Club house gift. So I always do it, though it is supposed to rain tomorrow :frowning:

I’m starting SSB LVII this week, so Ramp Test on Christmas Eve followed by Ebbetts on Christmas Day. Hope Santa brought me a few more watts since this is my first experience with structured training.

I normally go to work around 0530am so I can sleep in until 0630 get a pbj, choc milk, water and coffee ready and finish my SSBMV week 3 workout before anyone gets up.

Ramp test. :smirk:

Good luck with the ramp test. Be careful what you wish for…

If it helps, studies show that most of the time we just “think” our legs our tired. They actually still have plenty left…

Bashful +1 for me…hopefully with a Kickr Climb to provide some entertainment!

Isn’t that the truth. Awsome, I increased my FTP :grinning:. My reward, all my workouts just got harder :weary:

I’ve got one workout in the morning (buffalo +3 most likely) and one in the afternoon (I’m liking petit +1 these days) with a run in between.

Ramp test to start out SSB MV II.

Carson or Beacon for me, depending on how much time I have in the evening.

I have the Ramp Test scheduled for Christmas Day. Starting SSB MV I. Starting my prep for the Assault on the Mount Mitchell on May 20, 2019!

No training for me; I’m using the fitness I’ve earned to ride the Festive500. Christmas day will be 70km round the beaches of Sydney with a coffee stop if anywhere is open!

I’m going to run my first park run of the year with my spouse on Christmas Day.

I’m down for a Ramp Test

I will train with TrainerRoad on Christmas day. Most likely my wife and daughter will train too. We have two trainers, so no queuing needed.

Unlike in many other countries, the Christmas celebrations here start already on Christmas Eve, so training on Christmas day is usually not an issue.
