Was climbing the Epic KOM on third interval so delayed my final minutes rest to complete the climb!

Mount Field -2, returning to the swing:
Cough is finally gone so I’m starting SSB MV this week. I ramped recently, so I replaced the test with the endurance version of Mount Field to ease back in a little.
(Being sick corresponded very conveniently with a big video game release, which did not help my strength endurance but did get me ready to raid this weekend!)
Spencer +2 , wow that was hard but hung in there !!!
hahaha thanks!
forgot to post: long high endurance, 3h at 300W NP. died at the end.
Goddard. SSB LV1 wk2. All fine. Felt a bit gassed after the end of the sprint section and “working hard” is still uncomfortable… but thats ok.
Goddard for me too today, nice variety in this ride
Wanted something tough to follow yesterday’s over-unders, and I found it in Red Lake +7. First minute of each interval hurt before my legs settled in. I was pleased that my HR isn’t drifting up during recovery, I can feel my aerobic base getting wider and wider. Good times.
Tallac
Switched erg to resistance during recovery periods as I found the rest watts too low.
Day off before Thursday over/under session. Mustn’t swap it out again for a Zwift race!
Back in the saddle with Baird +2 - so glad to be back in the UK and training again. Work is totally getting in the way of my social life and training
Max Aerobic, aka VO2Max. 4 x 6m15s @ 440W+ with 1:1 work:rest ratio. Aiming for 25m at 95% Vo2max or higher, which probably means I’ll need to hit 5 of these. Attempted a 6th but juuuust failed.
Last ride of the 2019 season for me today. Taking 2.5 weeks off to focus on other things in life. Bike repair, housework, recovery, all the stuff that’s been piling up.
Will be diving back in after my longest break in two years on the 29th, or maybe the 28th depending on my work schedule
Running, another beautiful fall morning - overnight frost, dark, dry air, no wind. 4x5min tempo. All systems green.
Erikson. Considering I did OverUnders yesterday and felt heavily fatigued going into this, I was really pleasantly surprised that not only did I complete it, but I found that generally there was enough power in my legs to stay a little over when the power requirements dropped. (That and some cheeky surges at the end of the interval)
Only 10 days into using TR and I’m already gagging for when I get to do my next ramp test
Carillion 2
Pretty happy with the effort. Skipped the rest periods and went for combined 60min effort. Beginning of this week felt drained and no power, and slowly coming right towards the end of the week.
Had planned on a longer sweet spot workout today, but ended up spending a bunch of time playing with the kids and needed to do a shorter workout. Freel looked like fun, and reminded me that I hate VO2 work
Also did a 2.25 mile run on my lunch break, so there’s that.
2 hour of tempo and endurance in a 20mph NNW wind gusting to 30mph. Out here in Flatland we live for solo riding at 25mph at 160W, and then turning around and battling to maintain 15mph in tempo zone. Good times
The Pacific flyway is starting to pickup on the annual bird migration from Northern America to Central and Southern America. Bird count climbing fast.
Last weekend we saw an amazing butterfly migration on Sunday, while hiking North Lake Tahoe from Mt Rose summit to Galena Falls at 9000’
