Had the Shiner pecan and peach infused beer from Texas. Interesting. Probably better if it was warmer outside. Then the Anchor Steam because my wife got 3 of those in a Trader Joe’s make your own six pack.
I may have posted these before…but these are 2 of my favorites…the blanc de chambly for lighter meals and the #8 for anything with meat…and it goes good with chartruterie boards…
Chimay Grande Reserve, in a Duvel glass. Would this be considered a misdemeanor in Belgium? The only other appropriate glass I have is the bikes & beers…
Holy crap…we need to talk about your pour technique. That head is a crime against humanity!!
@ryanmc06 We stopped the other night in North Platte, NE driving back from Boise…went into a local taproom featuring a local brewery. Group of guys at the bar were ordering Busch Lights
My brother and his family live in W. Des Moines, he explained it to me at some point but I’m still not sure I recall what/why Iowans drink all the Busch Light - they certainly do though. It’s funny, in summer of 2021 I was up there and we went to a cidery in Winterset, which had Busch Light on draft, and then we went to Peace Tree brewery way outside of town and they had it as well (speaking of, Blonde Fatale is a solid beer)
No way, we live in Ankeny but I work in West Des Moines. It’s definitely our go-to light beer, but there’s also just a ridiculous amount of breweries within a 20 mile radius here.
Great beer. Back in 1995 I took a job in Oregon and had 3 people working for me in Belgium. And the engineering team was also there. So of course I had to go over 4 times a year, and learn about all the great Belgium beers.
