I don’t understand….it is in the cart.
5 liters for under $20, and it doesn’t require a round trip ticket to Munich. That’s a deal, right?!
Sound logic.
Go get it.
You weren’t allowed to buy one?
In that case go and buy two
yes!
First time visiting Germany, I arrived with horrible jet lag but was determined to stay up in order to get on the local schedule. Espresso wasn’t doing anything. Then went to the Hofbräu Haus and I swear there was something in that beer that lit me up like a christmas tree and kept the party going until the wee hours of the morning. They also had a live band but the musicians were spread out around the beer hall for real-life surround sound - the one and only time I’ve experienced this and it was super cool!
May have already posted this but here is a blast from the past - August 10, 2019:
My wife and I had a great time sitting outside in the biergarten, of course we had to ask about open seats at tables and ended up at one with a guy from Wisconsin that had just retired from Trek. The first time I went to Munich and Hofbrau Haus was 1989, on my first trip to Europe.
Washed the bike today:
And had to obey the apron. Was happy to find this at the grocery store:
The beer I discovered in Mt Shasta last month!
In Cincy for a work event….stopped at the Moerlein Lager House for dinner. Although I am an Ale fan, it was nice to get a good selection of something other than the usual IPA’s.
These were all quite good.
Back to the usual IPA:
Found this at Trader Joe’s, and heard about it when I was in Boise earlier this month.
Nice twist on a Hazy - hops are El Dorado, Simcoe, and Galaxy.
Love love love the name.
I am really enjoying this alcohol free beer called Thrive from Belgium. It’s unique in that it’s pitched as the world’s first sports recovery beer with added protein and BCCA’s. Taste wise it’s like a shandy, not too sweet and really refreshing.
Not bad. Tastes like a decent lighter beer.
I recently discovered that Deschutes now makes an NA version of their black butte porter. Which was one of my go-to beers before I stopped drinking (not my favorite, but pretty good and exceedingly common).
Long time fan - will keep an eye out for it here. We get Deschutes but limited selection.
Found an excellent ESB this weekend from local brewer Hopewell. Quite tasty.
Rouleur sponsored the ride I was on this morning, so I brought this excellent West Coast IPA home to enjoy while watching il Lombardia
The beer that started it all for me.
The first beer I ever tried, at the age of 22 years old.
It’s pretty good.
Ah yes Squatters Full Suspension…always have a few when I’m in Utah skiing
Left Coast Brewing Trestles IPA
