Can anyone suggest a good Leg routine for gym work (weights) to perform while busy with a HIIT maintenance TR plan during a race season, or should I not be doing weights during the racing season?

If you are looking to build strong legs for weightlifting, that is a whole different kettle of fish, probably best to follow a proper weight training plan based on your current strength and experience, but this will more than likely interfere with your racing.

Thanks, I’m looking to improve my overall leg strength for cycling. Was thinking that some weight training (with proper recovery) could speed up the process as opposed to just cycling. But I guess this should then take place off season.
