Strength training - emphasis on legs

Love the podcasts !!! Thank you for all the great info.
Question - how do I incorporate strength training, with an emphasis on leg training, into my TR schedule, please?
If I follow the Training Plan and strength train my legs, I’m “fried” and can’t finish my next TR workout.
