Taper Week Fasted Add-Ons?

I have a TT coming up in a couple weeks, so I am currently in the first week of tapering (SPB-LV). In past weeks, I have added a fasted endurance ride (60 minutes below .70 intensity). During a taper week, would it be wise to continue this?

On this same note, during recovery weeks, is it okay to complete the endurance rides in a fasted state, or does this create too much stress for recovery?

In both cases, I’m looking for opportunities to burn a little extra fat for both weight loss and body composition improvements, but I wouldn’t want it at the expense of future performance.
