Should I take a break before I start my new plan?

I was thinking about taking a week off the bike and gym before I start my base plan next week.
I never have in the past but was thinking it might be a good idea for a reset.
Thoughts?

Do it man, It’ll give you some rest and also help build up enthusiasm for when you do get back on.
