After the first day of a 3-day stage race, the TrainerRoad app made adaptations and suggested I take a rest day! Naturally, I didn’t quit the event I had been preparing for over the past three months (with TrainerRoad’s help).
On the second day of the event, the app once again recommended a rest day for the following day!
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this issue. Last June, during a 5-day event in Andorra, the app suggested stopping after each stage.

Kudos on completing the stage race! I took a peak at your TR Calendar and it looks like it was an awesome event!
It looks like the race triggered a couple of “red days” on there because of the sudden increase in training volume/stress – but, as you said, one isn’t going to quit in the middle of a race!
I can see how those warnings from Red Light/Green Light might not be the most useful suggestions when in the middle of a stage race like that – I’ll pass your feedback along to the rest of the team.

On the other hand, I ran my first-ever half marathon, and TrainerRoad didn’t even suggest taking it easy the next day—not even a yellow flag!
