Hi all,
asking for a “friend” doing multisport and using several plans and apps.
Currently the TR recovery week, the running recovery week, and the strength recovery week are not synched.
One of the core ideas of a recovery week seem to be to give the body some needed reset time, particulaly cortisol levels, but also just tissue healing and digestive system recovery.
So my question is, should all those recovery weeks be synched? It might also work better with overall training load.
On that note, anyone have a best practice how to synch?

Ideally, you’d synchronize recovery weeks across all disciplines so you can give the body a full reset.
The only time I would recommend not synchronizing an activity is if it’s a low-stress activity, such as mobility focus, strength training, or a walk.
Not sure what other applications they have, but they could decide what their main sport is and “supplement” with the rest. For example, they can make TR the main Calendar to follow and adapt their other activities to fit that calendar’s training and recovery weeks.
