We’re working on syncing workouts to third-party calendars. There are two ways to sync. Sync workouts as “all day events”. These show up at the top of your calendar day (see below). [52] Set a time for each workout and they would fill in exactly on your calendar. We can roll option 1 and on…

[image] Nate_Pearson: It’s a separate calendar so you’ll have to copy the event to your individual calendar if you want to set a time so it’s a bit annoying. There’s no two way sync either. So it will or will not sync straight into our normal google calendar? If not an option might be to sha…

Yes. Technically it’s a different calendar feed that get’s overlaid, but it’s easy. You would just give a URL for your wife to add to her calendar…it sounds hard but it’s easy. We’ll have instructions. It’s a one time setup too. It looks like this: [29] [42]

This would be a nice feature, looking forward to it being rolled out.

I agree with @willball12 on this one. I think the all day makes more sense than placing it at a specific time on the calendar. Also, working with API’s personally, I don’t think this would be any different than the workload to set the time listed on the workout in the TrainerRoad calendar.

[image] Nate_Pearson: That’s a good idea though. I’ve wanted a “labs” area where we can have “opt in” features that people can play with and we get feedback on before it totally launches. Beta toggle switch! I’m in. :+1:

Nate - I think being able to sync it to a calendar (Apple Cal in my case) is great. I don’t know anything about programming so don’t know if it is possible to build it so that the user could select all day/time specific - if that is doable it might be worth it to save you the griping that will sure…

Here’s what we’ve got. Everything in Green is from a TrainerRoad feed. If you click on the day it shows TSS, IF, KJ and the description. The formatting isn’t the best because we can’t put line breaks in the description, but it serves it’s purpose. [image]

Why is this that much works if you do generate everything in UTC and set the timezone like this : DTSTART;TZID=UTC:20190101T090000 in the ics ? If you don’t handle the TZ in UTC it means that if the person is travelling she is going to have her calendar event in the TR defined TZ, I wish I could…

So when do us beta guys get to play with this??? At least I was in the FB beta group and got calendar early. please. please.
