Plan Adaption for red day

sorry I didn’t find a topic on the forum where to place my question. So I have created a new one.

I was advised to do a rest day after doing a strength training in the morning followed by an 1h15min Threshold workout wheel -3 and going 1km easy pool swimming.
Prior the swimming I should do on the following day 0:45min Saddleback, an easy ride on a yellow day.

There was the option to choose an easy ride on rest day instead. So the AI gives me a 1h45min Virginia easy ride on a rest day/red day. This is suspicious… going from yellow day to red day and increasing the TSS from 41 to 77.

Furthermore, the AIFTP prediction is dropping from +3.5% to 1.4%.
My last FTP-Prediction has given me -0.4%, but I am fine with that, because outside workouts seems to be more stressful to keep the power on track, because of the outside condition like road is going uphill and downhill. The wind forces are although requires energy and changes in the cadence.
But only doing easy swimming is decreasing prediction…?
Maybe I can only delete the swimming and see what is happing then, but I haven’t tried it, to show the issue here, if it is one, to the TR Team.

100% a problem. Just remove the red light/green light option. I made the mistake of recording a walk with the family around the neighborhood. Similar to your experience. I also received red day by doing an easy swim. Not worth the hassle. Delete it.

I think there’s currently a bug with prescribed endurance rides on red days.

I had another athlete reach out about this ~ a week ago.

It’s been reported to the team and is being investigated.

Moving forward, I wouldn’t recommend turning off Fatigue Detection, but instead just manually dial down any workouts you’re choosing to do on red days. Also, keep in mind that our first recommendation is always to rest! :person_in_bed:
