Hey @Huegelreiter !
Having Yellow and Red Days from the get go is not a bad thing. For example, getting a Yellow Day after in Interval Day is a good sign that the workout pushed you correctly. And Red Days can show you a pattern of when are the best days for rest.
I personally like Fatigue Detection to find patterns in training vs. recovery.
Question for you, when you apply the plan, is it the recommended plan, or are you changing things before applying it to the Calendar? This can have an impact of how Yellow/Red Days are spread out, as well as your recent training history.
I looked at you Calendar and I only see Yellow Days, but one thing that caught my attention is the Endurance workouts on Saturdays. Shouldn’t those be Interval Days? Was it like this always? Because you’re green on those days. If so, I may need to look into this.
I do also want to point out that the way TrainerRoad builds custom plans is still the same, and Nate has explained this is something we’ll like to change and incorporate with the new AI logic but that’s a whole different monster.
Lastly, I wanted to reinforce our Be Excellent To Each Other rule for everyone.
From Nate:
Be excellent to each other
And as a personal favor, I request that these posts come from a spirit of curiosity rather than aggression. The “be excellent to eachother” forum rule applies to us, too!
An example would be that instead of “TrainerRoad admits it doesn’t know how to train,” your post title could be “Can someone check my prediction for me?”. Often, it’s as simple as changing your training approach to see gains in your predictions.
Even after a question is solved, the first title gets picked up by Google and ChatGPT and becomes the narrative, even if it was an error on the athlete’s part.
And of course, we are still learning from this AI and trying to improve it! We’ll look into everyone’s case and make improvements where we can.
