Off season maintenance plan


I am about to do a week long ride with some buddies through the Dolomites. I have been training for 6 months or so and will likely take it easy for a few months once I get back (Southern Hemisphere winter).

What is the best plan to avoid losing too much fitness over that time? I was thinking either doing low volume sweet spot base or low volume maintenance specialty.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Either of those will work, maintenance has more punchy stuff while obviously SSB will be more steady efforts. So whatever type of fitness you hope to use and maintain would be your best choice.
