Meals you don't want TR to know about (but you still post on the forum)

Like a frittata, with rice instead of potato. We paired it with bbq tri-tip for a simple Monday night dinner.

I’ve been getting a lot of good ideas from delish.com. They have a couple cookbooks too…They have some really great recipes in there for one pot meals, salads and bowls. This one is really good, lots of ā€œhealthyā€ recipes inside…

Looks like a good source of Protein

Today I ate 5 apples for lunch. No more, no less.

I’d make an appeal to the Durianrider crowd, but actually just stuck in a sleep lab and got shafted on the vegetarian options.

Being an italian living in Mexico, my weekly Tacos Tuesday could not pass over a Pizza de Quesabirria.

Not all for me…unfortunatly, i had to gift two slices to my sweet half

And for those wondering, my weight is pretty low and stable nonetheless.

I have some friends currently riding a 1000km bikepacking race. their Strava photos are 50% scenery and 50% of the fast food tha tthey are inhaling in massive quantities. It’s almost convincing me to take up bikepacking just for the food!

I don’t necessarily find these bad for you…… until you eat 8-10 like I do

I’ve been hitting the tostados hard lately

WAIT….There’s food that they don’t want you to eat?

On their podcast, it’s the same message over and over - down as much sugar as you can without pooping yourself or vomiting. Maybe 1 of that’ 500,000,000 media producers that’s like ā€œeat more sugar. You want to drink a Coke every 20min if possible- you gotta work up to itā€ ……As long as you’re eating this stuff on a bike.

I need an explanation here…what am I looking at?!

Risotto is one of those great dishes that is as healthy as you want to make it. It’s great made very lean with just a splash of olive oil and broth. Gob of butter and cheese just makes it better :joy:.

Same with pasta. My fathers sode of the family is Sicilian. I make my grandfathers meat sauce all the time…but sub in lean ground turkey for beef, and use like 1/10th of the olive oil the recipe calls for. My dad calls it blasphemous (I havent even told him about the whole wheat spaghetti usage :joy:), but we eat it all the time here as a healthy meal rather than a once in a while indulgence.

As a foreigner in the UK this was my question the first time I saw one. It is, however, exactly what it looks like, a pie in bread. A pie sandwich.

But why? lol

Can’t you just hold the pie and eat it without the bread (or with a fork) or is the pie liquidly inside and the bread keeps it ā€œwholeā€ or soaks it up?

Either way this is my kind of food haha.
