Intervals are not uploading correctly

Hi Everyone,

was wondering if anyone else is having issues with their uploaded workouts since the new AI Update.

I have noticed that after uploading a work out my intervals are not synced correctly. This has only happened twice so far and, both times it was from an outside workout. I have been using TR since March 2025 and this have never happened before.

I don’t have any screen shots but, if it does happen again I will take a screen shot and add it to the topic. To solve the issue I have to delete the workout and re import my ride file which i get from the Garmin Connect.

Is there a way to bring this to TR developers attention?

I’m having the same issue. Support said they are aware of it and working on fix, but I’ve not been given an ETA.

Hey @Hoser

Since there are no screenshots, can you describe in detail how your “intervals are not synced correctly”?

I want to see if this is the same issue as @rusnak167 or something else.

Hi @Caro.Gomez-Villafane ,

for example, lets say I have an interval 8 x 2 min at 400 watts with 1 min of rest at 180 watts. well what ends up happening is that the interval demarcation starts 30 seconds into the 2 min at 400 section. so now my 2 min at 400 watts includes 30 seconds of my rest period and the interval average power is low.

I don’t know if trainer road algorithms looks at the power profile for the whole ride or just looks at intervals but, Just to be safe I was deleting the rides and re-uploading the ride file. That seems to solve the issue.

Hopefully my explanation was clear.

Thanks

We’ll take a look

Just to clarify, @rusnak167, the bug that support pointed out was about the workout being labeled as “Why did you finish this workout early?”

For the workouts being interpreted as ending early, this is actually a known bug that our team is actively working on fixing. So you’re not doing anything wrong there, and a fix should be coming soon.

As far as the workout data you sent, I see we have not replied to it yet. I will get with Corey and take a look to see if you’re both having the same experience

That’s correct. The system would state the workout finished early and the interval times didn’t match up with the actual interval period. This resulted in a higher power for rest periods and lower power in the intervals auto selected by TR
