Incorporating outdoor rides to training plans

Hi all,
I would like to hear how other members are working in weekend outdoor riding with TR structured rides. I’ll be starting Base SST mid level next Monday. My plan right now is to do the prescribed amount of zone training during my outdoor ride. For example, I would do an hour on SST if the structured ride prescribed 3x20. Either way I’m curious how others are doing it. Thanks
