I need adaptive training or help to restart after quarantine

Hi all, I had a plan running since september, building up to A event in july and B event in may.
I had the first 4 weeks of build, the last one being a recovery week, then I was contact-traced and quarantined. Had to move out to not put risk on family, so had almost 3 weeks off the bike.

I lost the second build period and now I’d have two weeks of base, followed by 8 of specialty.

So, what should I do?

  • just continue
  • delete and recalculate the plan (but then the system won’t know I’ve been training for the last 5 months and will start from base I guess)
  • do something else

?? Any advice from experts?



I would do this. 3 weeks off the bike seems like enough to me that I would want to get new ftp and start fresh. Kinda like a off season.

You can choose intermediate or advanced with intervals which will change the order of things. I think choosing advanced will shorten base and more time in build and speciality. Others who are more knowledgeable will add something as well.
