I am confused about the new system of suggested workouts.

When I logged on a few days ago, my suggested workout was an “Anaerobic 6.9” . I have not yet done a single Anaerobic workout this season. How/why did the algorithm choose this level of 6.9?

Hi, i am not sure if this helps, but look solely at the power numbers and the graph of the workout, forget about the workout level. Whats your feel, can you hold the targets? Give it a go you might fail the workout, but the system will learn even from failed workouts. If you feel like its really hard and not in your category choose some easier alternative from the menu and do the RPE survey at the end. AI will learn from that.

Hey @MMAGILNER

TrainerRoad now looks beyond just Workout Levels, factoring in your fitness, recent training, and overall trends to pick the right workout for you that day.

When a workout looks different from what you might expect (Anaerobic 6.9) based on past recommendations, it’s reflecting a broader view of your current fitness and capabilities.

That might mean getting a workout that looks like a bigger step, especially if your recent training shows you’re ready for it.

I would give the workout a go and let us know how it goes!
