Hi all,
The new system rolled out to me today. I noticed that every workout listed as a similar workout is “Not Recommended.” If that’s the case, then why was the initial workout not adapted out of my calendar?
Also: What happened to the difficulty levels? (Achievable, Productive, Stretch), etc? I gotta say that those terms were great descriptors to help me understand the scope of what lied ahead in a workout, or what my alternative may look like. I don’t think I’ll ever remember the nuances of all the 10-step progression levels!
Apologies if this sounds like sour grapes or if I missed something. I’m truly just trying to figure out the new system. The workouts are the same after all.. Thanks.

Hey @toastwithbutter!
Are you talking about the Workout Alternate drawer or TrainNow? If so, it looks like we found a bug yesterday and working on a fix right now!
The issue can come up through TrainNow or Workout Alternates. When you scheduled it to the Calendar from TrainNow and then open the workout card then the “Not Recommended” disappears, but when scheduled trough Workout Alternates it sticks.
As far as the Achieveble, Productive, Stretch labels, we now have a Workout Difficulty so that before you ride, it tells you how a scheduled workout is likely to feel for you, so you can understand the demands of your training and prepare.

As far as Alternates go, they have changed a bit as well. Now you just pick it you want it easier, longer, harder, etc… and we’ll pick the right one for you! No more guessing: NEW! | Flexible Training, Still the Right Workout | AI Workout Alternates
Lastly, here is another blog post that goes over all the new features: Introducing TrainerRoad AI
Update: this bug has been fixed!
