Hi, I have been using TrainerRoad for a week now and I just noticed that my TSS weekly “budget” is too low for what I’m used too. For the last 6 weeks I did an average of 600, while Trainer road’s plan is 350. Maybe I did something wrong while creating the plan, but is there a way to increase that now?
Supplement with EASY Z2 rides, extend cooldowns etc. I haven’t used TR in a while but if intermediate volume now really does only have 3 intensity days, you could switch to mid volume. (Click on the title of your phase in the calendar)
I have the same experience with my weekly training load; TSS is just too low although I’m on a medium training volume plan. There are basically two ways to increase TSS, supplement plan with additional work in z2 or replace the workout with another higher TSS one with roughly the same PL. Just be mindful of any additional fatigue.
