That makes sense. However, I don’t race and I don’t do competitive group rides. FTP is kind of all I have to go on when it comes to gauging my progress. It feels like the new system is just asking me to evaluate my progress based on how individual workouts feel and that’s . . . highly variable.

TR still has “season” with a PDC right? Could use that to see where you are improving across a range of times.

Updated to Trainer Road AI this morning, new FTP detection decrease was over 10% from 199 to 179. I was about to hit 200 - how do I not feel sad about this? Wasn’t the original AI FTP detection promoted as more accurate than ramp tests and other methods? How is this comparable to other platforms?…
