I’m new to structured training and I’m just looking to raise my fitness and FTP for out on the road so no race requirements.
My question is it worth runing SSB I&II through a couple of times back to back to keep building my base fitness as its not all that great or is it better to run base then build and repeat or run base the a few different build plans?
I would do base then build and repeat that rather than just repeating base. Just for the wider variety of workouts, to avoid burnout, compared to doing build a bunch of times.
I agree. Was a huge fan of doing a lot of BASE plans before, but found that stressing body with BUILD is a great way to improve Fitness and FTP. By doing too much BASE we become kind of diesel engine…
